Non, c'est juste que c'est une version alpha et visiblement elle est buggué, un NullPointerException est causé par une erreur de programmation.

Exemple :
Code:
if(player.getCurrentEquippedItem().getItem() == Items.gold_ingot)
Causera un NullPointerException si le joueur n'a pas d'item en main.

Ici il y a un null check en plus (le != null) ce qui évite tout risque de NullPointerException

C'est donc c'est au créateur du mod de corriger le bug, il faudrait lui remonter le rapport de crash.
